CYG Insulator Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Changyuan Technology Group Co., Ltd., established in August 1994. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of composite insulators for high-voltage power lines and electrified railways, along with their series of products. The company has successively established provincial-level engineering technology research centers and enterprise technology centers, as well as Dongguan Engineering Technology Research Centers and enterprise technology centers, and a key laboratory in Dongguan. With 25% of its workforce dedicated to R&D, the company possesses the capability to develop, produce, and test composite insulator series for ±1100kV DC, 1000kV AC, and lower voltage levels, as well as for high-speed railways operating at 350km/h.

 

The company currently has over 10 million products that operate safely on major power grids and high-speed railways across the country and even the world. With core technology, it has forged a national treasure, and with excellent quality, it escorts major national projects. It fully participates in the construction of the national "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" high-speed railway network and all national key ultra-high voltage projects, witnessing and promoting the leapfrog development of China's power and high-speed railway technology from following to leading.

 

In the field of high-speed railway, the company started from the first 350km/h high-speed railway in Chinese Mainland - Wuhan Guangzhou high-speed railway, comprehensively serving the construction of "eight vertical and eight horizontal" backbone channels, such as Beijing Shanghai, Shanghai Kunming, Beijing Port (Taiwan), Yanjiang, Lanzhou (West) Guangzhou, and realizing full coverage of composite insulators for 350km/h high-speed railway. It is the core supplier of high-speed railway electrification in China.

 

In the field of ultra-high voltage transmission, the company has achieved technological breakthroughs in the full voltage level of ultra-high voltage engineering: from the world's first 1000kV AC, the world's first ± 800kV DC to the world's first ± 1100kV Changji Guquan ultra-high voltage DC transmission project, from the world's first long-distance transmission of new energy to the Qinghai Henan project on Datong Road to the world's highest altitude Jinshang Hubei project, from the "West East Power Transmission" strategic artery Baihetan Jiangsu/Zhejiang project to China's first "wind solar thermal storage integration" Longdong Shandong project, it has created the "pride of China" as a national key ultra-high voltage project.

 

In the construction of the "the Belt and Road", the company actively participated in landmark projects such as the Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway, the China Laos Railway, and the Egypt Ramadan 10 Day City Railway. Its products were exported to more than 60 countries and regions such as India, Brazil, Spain, Finland, Australia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania, achieving an international leap from the first breakthrough to full coverage of overseas UHV voltage levels, and it is an important force for China's high-end electrical equipment to "go global".
