CYG Insulator assists in the successful meeting of the Electric Power Insulator Industry Standard Committee

On May 25, 2023, the 4th working meeting of the Electric power Industry Insulator Standardization Technical Committee was held in Dongguan City. More than 70 attendees from the China Electric Power Academy of Sciences, China Electric Power Union, Tsinghua University, State Grid electric Power Science Research Institute leaders, experts and representatives of the national power insulator manufacturers participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Wu Guangya, director of China Electric Power Research Institute.

Major projects of State Network and Southern Network

1) Yueyang, Hunan to Nanning, Guangxi 500 kV power transmission and transformation project: The project, with a total length of about 970 kilometers and 500 kV transmission technology, is a long-distance cross-provincial power transmission channel, led by the State Grid Corporation, and is expected to invest about 2 billion yuan. The project is scheduled to complete the preliminary work by the end of 2021, is expected to start in 2022, and the construction period is expected to be three years.

1) Guizhou Anshun, Guizhou Longli, Guangxi Hepu, Guangdong Zhanjiang UHV DC inter-provincial networking project: The project line length of about 1500 kilometers, using ±1100 kV UHVDC transmission technology, is expected to invest about 36 billion yuan, led by the State Grid Corporation, is expected to start in 2022, 2025 completion.

Cases of major railway projects

The new Chengdu-Lanzhou Railway is one of the important projects in the development of western China, which includes four sections: Chengdu to Chuanzhusi section, Chuanzhusi to Mianyang section, Mianyang to Guangyuan section and Guangyuan to Lanzhou section. The section from Chengdu to Chuanzhusi is part of the railway construction. The new Boten to Vientiane Railway project is a cross-border railway project jointly promoted by the Chinese government and the Lao government, connecting Boten City in China's Yunnan province and Vientiane city, the capital of Laos, with a total length of about 414 kilometers and a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The railway is mainly built by Chinese enterprises such as China Railway Engineering Group Co., LTD., China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., LTD., China Civil Engineering Group Co., LTD., and Lao enterprises such as Lao Aoser Railway Group Co., LTD.
