On May 25, 2023, the 4th working meeting of the Electric power Industry Insulator Standardization Technical Committee was held in Dongguan City. More than 70 attendees from the China Electric Power Academy of Sciences, China Electric Power Union, Tsinghua University, State Grid electric Power Science Research Institute leaders, experts and representatives of the national power insulator manufacturers participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Wu Guangya, director of China Electric Power Research Institute.

As the co-organizer of this conference, Mr. Wang Ping, Chairman and General manager of CYG Insulator, was invited to deliver a speech at the conference. Mr. Wang Ping, on behalf of CYG Insulator, welcomed the leaders, experts and colleagues who came to Dongguan to attend the conference. At the meeting, insulator industry leaders and experts had a full discussion and exchange of views on the 9 standards, and said that after the meeting, the drafting would be revised according to the discussion opinions and released for implementation.

During the meeting, power insulator industry leaders, experts Mr. Su Zhiyi, Southern Power Grid leader Mr. Luo Bing and other parties visited CYG Insulator. Through the visiting of exhibition hall and workshop, leading experts greatly appreciated the development and progress of CYG Insulator in the past year. It also affirmed CYG Insulator's strategic development plans and measures of increasing R&D investment and actively promoting the systematization, intellectualization and standardization of composite insulator products.

The convening of the power insulator Standard Committee has promoted the technical exchange between the insulator industry, promoted the improvement of the insulator industry standards, and is an important milestone in the history of insulator standardization.
